At Trash Scouts, the safety of our team members, our customers, and the communities we live and serve, is always, our first primary goal in everything that we do.
To help limit the spread of COVID -19, we have implemented new protocols, in accordance with local government, including special guidance from the CDC for Waste Collectors and Recyclers, and SWANA (Solid Waste Association of North America).

Trash Scouts Cleaner Visit
Our new Cleaner Visit service offering encompasses our standard
scout service, and an optional disinfecting service, which includes:
Push and Pull Service / Scout Service for your waste containers
Complete disinfecting, sanitizing and deodorizing of trash, recycling and compost containers
Disinfecting and sanitizing of high traffic / high touch points in common areas, such as door knobs, hand rails, light switches, handles, dialpads or other identified touchpoints
Use of Electrostatic sprayer - Electrostatic spray is electrically charged, allowing the appropriate sanitizers and disinfectants to wrap around and evenly coat all types of surfaces for a more complete clean. As the chemical exits the electrostatic sprayer, it’s given a positive electrical charge. The droplets then become attracted to all negative surfaces, covering the visible area, underside and backside, with the sanitizing agent. Because the particles in the spray are positively charged, they cling to and coat any surface, and covering hard-to-reach places by 50% compared to conventional methods.
Use of EPA LIST N: Disinfectant for use against SARS-COV-2, the cause of COVID-19. Strong enough to be used as a hospital grade disinfectant and specifically formulated to be used on both porous and non-porous materials.
